Pink Stripes Are Always in Style

This outfit was what I settled on after I changed out of the green shirt. This is another new shirt that also is ruched. I love pink and I'm always drawn to buying pink shirts. I liked this as a summer shirt and thought it would go with lots of different items in my closet. Also, since the sleeves are a bit longer, it made me think it would be warmer somehow in the office. I layered it over a white cami as the material was too thin to wear it without anything underneath. I like layering and having the bottom layer peek out from under the top layer. I think it adds a nice touch.

The Awkward Ruched Shirt

I think I've attempted to wear this shirt three times in the last two weeks and always changed my mind before I walked out the door. I've become a bit obsessed with green. It's another color that doesn't have a strong presence in my closet. I picked up the shirt on clearance as it was a good deal. I like that it is ruched, but I'm not a fan of the large sleeves. I don't think it ends up being very flattering on me. Either way, again on this day I quick swapped it out before leaving the house. So, this isn't actually something I ended up wearing.

Sunshine and Happiness

I'm trying to incorporate new colors into my wardrobe. Yellow is one of them. I don't own much of it. Some mornings when I wear gray or black I believe it makes me look pale, but bright, warmer colors add a bit of brightness. I originally paired the shirt with white jeans, but changed to denim before I left the house.

I also had on nude heels by Madden Girl, but you can't see them in the photo.

Also, ignore the Hollister shopping bag. I find it strange Hollister bags have shirtless men on them. I'm curious if when a male purchases something, is it a female on the sack?
